Our Mission

LMIA Finder was created in January 2026 with a clear mission: to help international job seekers navigate the Canadian job market and immigration pathways with accurate, transparent, and up-to-date information.

We organize open government data from Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC), Job Bank Canada, and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to show which employers are hiring, which occupations are in demand, and which immigration programs may suit your profile — across all Canadian provinces and territories.

All data on LMIA Finder comes from official Government of Canada open data:

  • 1ESDC LMIA Decisions — Historical data on positive LMIA decisions issued to employers (2015–present)
  • 2Job Bank Canada — Daily-updated job postings from Canada's National Job Bank
  • 3IRCC Programs — Express Entry draw data, Provincial Nominee Program details, and immigration processing times
