1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using LMIA Finder (lmiafinder.ca), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

LMIA Finder is an informational platform that aggregates and presents publicly available Canadian Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) data, job postings from the Government of Canada Job Bank, immigration program information, and employer data. We organize this information into a searchable, user-friendly format to help international job seekers and employers navigate the Canadian job market and immigration landscape.

LMIA Finder offers both free and premium (paid) features. Free features include searching job postings, browsing employer profiles, accessing wage data, and exploring immigration programs. Premium features require a paid subscription and are described in Section 3 below.

3. Accounts and Premium Subscription

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Premium Features

LMIA Finder Premium is a paid monthly subscription at $11.99 CAD per month that provides access to enhanced features, including:

• Saving and tracking job postings
• Smart Apply with job match scoring and assisted applications
• Employer intelligence with LMIA monitoring and job alerts
• AI-powered CV scoring and feedback
• Professional CV and cover letter templates tailored for Canadian job applications

Billing

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges to your chosen payment method. All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to applicable taxes.

Cancellation

You may cancel your Premium subscription at any time from your dashboard or billing portal. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period
• No further charges will be made after the current billing period ends
• Your account will revert to the free plan when the billing period expires
• You may reactivate your subscription at any time before the billing period ends

Refunds

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. Since you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of your billing period, partial refunds for unused time are not provided. If you believe you were charged in error, please contact us at info@lmiafinder.ca and we will review your case.

4. Use License

Permission is granted to access and use LMIA Finder for personal, non-commercial, informational purposes. Under this license you may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
• Reproduce, redistribute, or republish content from this site for commercial purposes
• Use the service to build a competing product or service
• Modify, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from our platform
• Share, transfer, or resell your Premium account access to others

This license may be terminated if you violate any of these restrictions.

All data presented on LMIA Finder is derived from official Government of Canada open data, including:

• Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC) LMIA decision records
• Government of Canada Job Bank job postings
• Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) program data

LMIA Finder is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Government of Canada, IRCC, or ESDC.

7. User Obligations

When using LMIA Finder, you agree to:

• Use the service only for lawful purposes
• Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account
• Keep your account credentials secure and not share them with others
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or infrastructure
• Not interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• Not use the platform to harass, mislead, or defraud others
• Not impersonate any person or entity

8. Intellectual Property

The LMIA Finder name, logo, design, and original content are the property of LMIA Finder. Government data displayed on this platform remains subject to the Government of Canada's Open Government Licence. AI-generated templates and content provided through Premium features are licensed for your personal use only. You may not use our branding, trademarks, or original content without written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

LMIA Finder and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, including Premium features. This includes, but is not limited to, damages resulting from reliance on information provided, AI-generated content, loss of data, or service interruptions. Use of LMIA Finder is entirely at your own risk.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms of Use, engaged in fraudulent activity, or abused the service. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us. If your account is terminated, any active Premium subscription will be cancelled and no further charges will be made.

11. Privacy

Your use of LMIA Finder is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using LMIA Finder, you consent to the practices described therein.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to this page. If we make material changes that affect your Premium subscription, we will notify you via email. Your continued use of LMIA Finder after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
