Calculate cost of travel and accommodations. Handle reimbursement in case of transportation and hotel reservations cancellation. Recommend suitable products. Supervise clerical staff or other travel counsellors. Investigate new travel areas, hotels and other amenities. Manage difficult situations with customers. Perform general office duties. Sell travel products and travel insurance. Use principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services, which include marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
