Apiary Technician

Salary: $18.50 to $22.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. All weather conditions. Dirty Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available Tasks: Maintain the bee yard and beekeeping equipment. Work with honey bees. Harvest crops. Maintain quality control and production records. Perform general farm duties. Interac with bees based on your knowledge of their biology, behaviour, ecology and caste system Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Tight deadlines. Physically demanding. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail. Handling heavy loads. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Hand-eye co-ordination.
