Cold/refrigerated Work setting: Butcher shop. Supermarket and meat department. Fish store Tasks: Cut carcasses, sides and quarters. Prepare special cuts of meat ordered by customers. Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat. Wrap and package prepared meats. Remove bones from meat. Weigh meats for sale. Cut poultry into parts. Sell meats to customers. Grind meats. Make special sausages. Prepare special displays of meats, poultry and fish products Equipment and machinery experience: Band saw. Power grinder. Sausage machine Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Standing for extended periods. Attention to detail. Physically demanding.
