Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting: Veterinary clinic Tasks: Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests. Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery. Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery. Administer treatments as prescribed by veterinarian. Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry. Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals. Provide wound and bandage care Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
