Sheet Metal Worker

Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks: Manufacture and assemble different prefabricated fibreglass elements. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate laser cutters. Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces. Cut materials using power tools or by hand. Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment. Fit and join sheet metal parts Transportation/travel information: Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles. Gloves. Hard hat Personal suitability: Judgement. Organized. Team player
