Shop fabrication. Various locations. Repair. On-site fabrication Tasks: Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Select equipment for residential and small commercial construction. Measure and mark sheet metal according to template. Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal. Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces. Supervise other workers. Fit and join sheet metal parts.
