Chemical Plant Labourer

Languages: Bilingual Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment: Hot. Cold/refrigerated Tasks: Feed and unload production machinery and equipment. Clean and maintain work space. Clean chemical processing machines and equipment and production areas. Move, sort and pile materials and products. Record production information. Start up, shut down and troubleshoot equipment. Assist in operation, repair and maintenance. Perform general labouring duties. Operate equipment from a control room or from control consoles located near the production units. Monitor reaction processes and transfers of products in conformance with safety procedures Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate.
