Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 5 years or more Work site environment: At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Outdoors Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Residential Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites. Instruct apprentices. Supervise other workers. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs Security and safety: Criminal record check Transportation/travel information: Own transportation. Valid driver's licence Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding Own tools/equipment: Tools. Safety equipment/gear. Steel-toed safety boots. Safety glasses/goggles.
