Agricultural Equipment Technician

Location: Stratford, Prince Edward Island

Salary: $20.00 to $32.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting: On-site customer service Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Attach components and adjust new farm equipment. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Service attachments and working tools. Verify and repair emission control systems Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Agricultural Equipment Technician Red Seal Certificate Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel.
