Work site environment: Outdoors. Wet/damp. Hot Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Operate power tools to thin and space trees. Prune trees. Cut weeds and undergrowth. Apply chemicals. Fight forest fires Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: S-100 basic fire suppression and safety training. First Aid Certificate. Chainsaw Safety Training. Chainsaw operation training. Provincial licence/certification to apply chemical fertilizers, fungicides, herbicides and pesticides Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Standing for extended periods. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Walking Weight handling: Up to 23 kg
