Production Supervisor - Food and Beverage Processing

Salary: $36.00 to $38.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Maintain inventory of supplies Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail.
