Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting: Construction industry Tasks: Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures. Coordinate the activities of the HR department in order to ensure they meet the organization’s goals. Direct staff. Evaluate daily operations. Motivate staff. Plan, develop, implement and evaluate human resources policies and programs. Review HR projects to assure compliance with laws and regulations. Train staff. Establish and implement policies and procedures. Manage contracts. Manage training and development strategies. Oversee the analysis of employee data and information. Research employee benefits and health and safety practices and recommend changes. Oversee the preparation of reports. Respond to employee questions and complaints. Hire, train and supervise staff. Negotiate collective agreements on behalf of employer
