Metalworking Machine Operator

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks: Build staging or erect scaffolding for heavy metalworking jobs. Check products for correct shapes, dimensions and other specifications. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Cut, bend, roll, ream, punch, drill, weld or otherwise shape and form metal stock into parts or products. Document work completed. Investigate problems to fix or make minor repair. Lay out, set up and operate one or more light or heavy metalworking machines. Operate machines or equipment which weld, solder, bolt, screw or rivet metal parts together.
