Farm Supervisor

Salary: $26.00 hourly

Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Dusty. Hot. Noisy. Outdoors Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Develop specific plans to prioritize. Harvest seedlings. Mixing fertilizer. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Maintain financial and production records. Negotiate with clients for provision of services. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Maintain quality control and production records. Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations. Maintain work records and logs. Hire and train staff. Perform general farm duties Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: First Aid Certificate Area of specialization: Agricultural crop service Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
