Languages: English Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: 5 years or more Work setting: School or educational institution/establishment Tasks: Oversee the activities of teachers and support staff. Develop and administer programs for the education and training of students and adults. Direct or supervise the recruitment, training, evaluation and promotion of teachers. Evaluate the scope and sequence of the curriculum. Make recommendations concerning the annual operating budget of a school district. Co-ordinate teaching activities. Direct and co-ordinate school maintenance. Prepare and administer institution or program budget. Review programs to ensure conformance to school board or provincial standards. Develop sponsorship, partnership or fundraising programs Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Provincial teacher's certificate Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills.
