Veterinary Technician

Location: Squamish, British Columbia

Salary: $23.00 to $26.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine or optometry Experience: Experience an asset Tasks: Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests. Handle, restrain and care for animals undergoing treatment and surgery. Assist veterinarian before, during and after surgery. Prepare and administer medications and vaccines under direction of veterinarian. Counsel clients on animal health care. May perform a variety of office management and clerical duties. Perform routine animal dental procedures and assist veterinarians with animal dentistry. Provide nursing care and rehabilitation therapy for animals Other benefits: Other benefits
