Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Office of health care professional. Sports therapy. Rehabilitation centre and special health institution Tasks: Assess patients' physical abilities. Assist health care professionals. Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities. Follow through on treatment programs with patients. Help physical therapists. Set up and dismantle equipment. Clean and maintain equipment. Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies. Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations. Maintain clinical and progress reports. Maintain inventory of equipment. Document patient rehabilitation progress. Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: CPR Certificate
