Dangerous. Dusty. Hot Work setting: Urban area. Various locations. Rural area. Construction site Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites. Install or replace asphalt shingles, wood shingles and shakes and masonry or baked clay roofing tiles on sloped roofs of buildings Area of specialization: Shingled roofs Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Bending, crouching, kneeling Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs). Up to 1
