Salary: $16.12 to $19.50 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Hog management Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available Tasks: Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitoring animal health. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Weaning. Feed and tend animals. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens. Detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry. Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Repetitive tasks. Attention to detail.
