All weather conditions Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available. Remote location. Various locations Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Treat livestock health issues. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain livestock performance records. Maintain quality control and production records. Select livestock for sale. Supervise and oversee breeding and other livestock-related programs.
