Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Cold/refrigerated Work setting: Landscape maintenance Tasks: Plan and direct grounds maintenance. Plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work. Maintain work records and logs. Repair and maintain equipment. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Adjust equipment, valves, pumps and controls and process equipment. Troubleshoot electrical or mechanical systems failures. Supervise crew members. Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Prepare and maintain cleanliness of collection areas. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance work. Operate and maintain off-loading liquid pumps and valves.
