Prefabricated Joinery Assembly Supervisor

Salary: $37.00 to $38.50 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Testing. Installation. Assembly Tasks: Prepare and submit reports. Resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality. Train or arrange for training. Oversee safety of operations. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly. Make minor adjustments and repairs. Inspect finished products for proper functioning. Fasten parts together using fastening and joining equipment. Connect cables, tubes and wires. Assemble mechanical parts into subassemblies. Assemble, fit and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or finished products. Read blueprints to determine work requirements. Assemble mechanical equipment Certificates, licences, memberships,
