Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware. Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions. Move tools, equipment and other materials. Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade Work conditions and physical capabilities: Bending, crouching, kneeling. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
