Urban area. Various locations. Work in employer's/client's home Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Conduct moisture, ph, temperature and other tests prior to flooring installations. Prepare floors for installations. Install materials on counter tops and raised platforms Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads.
