Construction Helper

Salary: $24.00 to $25.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work site environment: Outdoors. At heights. Confined spaces. Noisy. Dusty. Cold/refrigerated. Hot Tasks: Load, unload and transport construction materials. Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades. Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs. Assist in demolishing buildings. Clean and pile salvaged materials. Perform routine maintenance work. Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Travel expenses paid by employer Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Work under pressure. Physically demanding. Tight deadlines. Manual dexterity. Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination. Sitting. Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Ability to work independently Weight handling: Up to 45 kg
