Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work setting: Various locations. Construction Tasks: Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Order parts and maintain inventory. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Perform other routine maintenance Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Hand-eye co-ordination.
