Production Labourer - Food Processing

Salary: $18.25 to $22.75 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 to less than 7 months Work site environment: Odours. Cold/refrigerated Work setting: Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment. Poultry processing plant Tasks: Food safety/handling skills. Transport raw materials, finished products and packaging materials. Measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines. Feed and unload processing machines. Assist process control and machine operators in performing their duties. Cut, trim and prepare standard cuts of meat Work conditions and physical capabilities: Standing for extended periods. Fast-paced environment. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) Personal suitability: Reliability.
