Languages: French Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years. Mechanical engineering/mechanical technology/technician. Engineering/industrial management Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Sheet metal shop. Machine set-up Tasks: Set machine or equipment controls. Develop manufacturing and processing procedures. Assist in preparing estimates, schedules, specifications and reports. Read blueprints and drawings. Plan production methods. Prepare cost estimates. Develop templates. Suggest changes to work processes based on physical and ergonomics stresses in the workplace. Interpret blueprints or other instructions to plan methods or sequences of operation.
