Factory Maintenance Worker

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Factory or plant Tasks: Sweep, mop, scrub and wax hallways, floors and stairs. Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris and other refuse. Empty trash cans and other waste containers. Wash windows, interior walls and ceilings. Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment. Perform safety and security checks. Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair. Work with minimal supervision Work conditions and physical capabilities: Repetitive tasks. Handling heavy loads. Physically demanding.
