Geological Survey Technician

Salary: $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 annually (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: College/CEGEP. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Tasks: Conduct geological, geophysical, geochemical, hydrographic or oceanographic surveys, prospecting field trips, exploratory drilling, well logging or underground mine survey programs. Conduct or direct surveys or survey programs. Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems. Prepare notes, sketches, geological maps and cross sections Computer and technology knowledge: Operate GPS (Global Positioning System) and other navigation equipment.
