Long Haul Truck Driver

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: No experience (will train) Tasks: Address customers' complaints or concerns. Mountain driving expertise. Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy. Load and unload goods. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform brake adjustments. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks). Air Brake (Z) Endorsement Security and safety: Valid passport. Drug test Transportation/travel information: Willing to travel cross-border. Willing to travel for extended periods. Willing to travel overnight Work conditions
