Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Custom machine shop Tasks: Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables. Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Operate and set up machines to perform repetitive machining operations. Clean and maintain work space. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery. Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the toolpath for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools. Prepare etching solution and immerse metal parts or workpiece into the etching solution to remove unwanted portions Equipment and machinery experience: Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines Security and safety: Criminal record check Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment.
