Languages: English Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Dusty Work setting: On-site customer service. Commercial. Residential Tasks: Inspect, measure and mark surfaces to be covered. Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements. Measure, cut and fasten underlay and underpadding. Measure, cut and install carpeting on floors. Prepare and install hardwood floors. Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings. Prepare floors for installations. Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants Transportation/travel information: Own transportation Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Ability to distinguish between colours Own tools/equipment: Safety equipment/gear. Hard hat. Gloves Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills. Judgement. Organized.
