Salary: $22.00 hourly

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment: Floriculture production. Outdoors. Non-smoking Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields and other work areas. Consider water saturation, light and temperature when planning for germination. Greenhouse cleaning. Harvest seedlings. Mixing fertilizer. Seed cutting. Tie and secure plants. Weeding. Write daily basic progress reports. Spray or dust plants with insecticides and fungicides. Assist in pruning trees, shrubs and plants. Mix and prepare soils. Plant bulbs and seeds. Pot and re-pot plants. Transplant seedlings or rooted cuttings. Apply fertilizers. Report signs of insect or disease damage. Assist in grafting activities. Dig up wrapping rootballs of trees and shrubs. Water and tend to plants, lawns and/or gardens.
