Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 5 years or more Work site environment: Beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots. Hay farming. Other miscellaneous crop farming. Livestock. All weather conditions Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Marking livestock as proof of ownership. Monitor the calving process. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Perform livestock feeding. Prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving. Track and report on current feed inventory. Treat livestock health issues. Weaning. Harvest crops. Feed and tend animals. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens.
