Farm Supervisor

Salary: $32.00 to $36.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment: Corn farming. Dry pea and bean farming. Other grain farming. Wheat farming. Grain, oil and forage crop Work setting: Rural area. Remote location. Staff accommodation available. Relocation costs covered by employer. Willing to relocate Tasks: Follow sustainable soy farming practices such as crop rotation, reduced-till or no-till, water and nutrient management, precision farming technology and cover crops. Soil fertility programs. Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying or harvesting. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed. Maintain quality control and production records.
