Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Hog and pig farming. Dusty. Noisy. Odours. Livestock. Dirty Work setting: Rural area. Staff accommodation available Tasks: Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Perform livestock feeding. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Weaning. Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers. Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed.
