Salary: $36.95 hourly + $.72 commission per mile

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work setting: Various locations Tasks: Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions. Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials. Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment. Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle. Receive and relay information to central dispatch. Transport and handle dangerous goods Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Air Brakes Endorsement. Driver's License (Class 1 or A) Security and safety: Basic security clearance.
