Supervisor, Food and Beverage Processing

Salary: $28.25 hourly

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Bakery. Meat processing and/or packing plant/establishment Tasks: Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures and company policies. Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions. Prepare production and other reports. Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule (and possibly review) activities of workers. Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other work units. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Hazard Analysis and Criticial Control Points (HACCP) Certification Work conditions and physical capabilities: Ability to work independently Personal suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills.
