Languages: French Education: Bachelor's degree Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work setting: Retail business. Management Tasks: Direct and control daily operations. Evaluate daily operations. Plan and organize daily operations. Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes and effect of competitors' operations on sales. Determine merchandise and services to be sold. Implement price and credits policies. Develop and implement marketing strategies. Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses. Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages. Accept cash payments. Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list. Pick up debris and empty trash containers. Order merchandise. Deposit cash and maintain daily log books. Order stock. Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
