Apprentice Roofer

Salary: $30.00 to $36.50 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: At heights. Noisy. Outdoors Work setting: Various locations. Commercial. Industrial Tasks: Install built-up roofing systems using materials such as asphalt saturated felts and hot asphalt and gravel. Install single-ply roofing system using waterproof sheet materials, such as modified plastics, elastomeric or other asphaltic compositions. Repair or replace single-ply roofing systems. Repair roofing systems. Apply waterproof coatings to concrete or other masonry surfaces below or above ground level. Install sheet metal flashings. Erect and install scaffolding, falsework and other working platforms Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment. Physically demanding. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Handling heavy loads. Large workload Weight handling: Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) Own tools/equipment: Tools. Steel-toed safety
