Job Purpose The Baker runs a full day's baking production from start (mixing) to finish (baking) and is responsible for the preparation of all baked goods.  Responsibilities Prepares and bakes menu items according to the company's recipes and standards Safely handles and operates equipment such as utensils, mixers, ovens, and pots and pans Complies with prescribed health and safety procedures while executing assigned tasks Maintains a safe and clean work environment including removal of waste from the bakery area Updates inventory records of food and supplies for relevant areas of production Maintains supply storage room for production of baked goods Performs other additional duties as assigned Skills Attention to detail: to ensure recipes are meticulously followed to deliver consistent results Communication skills: to communicate with restaurant employees, management, and customers Customer service skills: use a positive attitude to assist and service customers Time managemen
