Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team on Salt Spring Island, BC. Duties Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools. Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood and wood substitutes. Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls/roof systems. Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware. Lead and perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, and roofing tasks with precision. Install cabinetry, drywall, siding, flooring, tile, and perform finishing work such as painting and caulking.
