JOB DESCRIPTION Irving Shipbuilding is seeking Labourers (Industrial Spray Painters) in Halifax, NSRESPONSIBILITIES Spray painting marine and industrial coatings to a specified application requirement General surface preparation and brush and roller painting Work setting experience: shipbuilding and repair, steel industry Type of materials or products: general metal products, construction materials or coatings General maintenance of spray-painting equipment like proper spray pump flushing and cleaning after useQUALIFICATIONS Education Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Years of Experience Required: 3 + years (Industrial) Ability to work with different types of materials or products such as general metal products, construction materials or coatings Complete understanding of Industrial spray-painting equipment including airless, hvlp and conventional spray painting and general labour skills Must be able to wear respiratory protection as required or have a PAPR Must be capable of
