Position Description: The Security Guard plays a critical role in maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all clients, staff, residents, and visitors across Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre (HUCCHC) facilities. Responsibilities include monitoring the premises, enforcing safety protocols, conducting routine checks, and responding promptly and effectively to security incidents.. When assigned to the Residential Treatment and Recovery Facility, the Security Guard is additionally responsible for supporting resident safety through sign-in/sign-out procedures, regular wellness and security checks, and preventing the entry or possession of unauthorized substances, devices, or individuals.. Working in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, the Security Guard applies trauma-informed, non-violent, and respectful approaches to conflict resolution and crisis response, while upholding organizational values and contributing to a client centered and welcoming environ
