Farm Supervisor

Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years Work site environment: Chicken farming. Hog and pig farming. Dusty. Noisy. Odours Work setting: Rural area Tasks: Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens and other work areas. Conduct artificial insemination and spraying or shearing of livestock or disinfecting pens, barns or poultry houses. Diagnose livestock health issues. Handling animals. Monitoring animal health. Organize tasks to accomplish the work. Oversee the activities of clearing the fields. Perform pig littering activities such as clipping needle teeth, docking tails, administering iron and other medication(s), identification of piglets, and castration. Treat livestock health issues. Weeding. Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures. Carry out a pasture or pen breeding programs. Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general
