Heavy Equipment Operator

Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 hourly (to be negotiated)

Languages: English Education: No degree, certificate or diploma Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years Work site environment: Outdoors. Hot. Cold/refrigerated Tasks: Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications to plan methods or sequences of operation. Operate heavy equipment. Clean and lubricate equipment and refill equipment tanks. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment. Prepare accident reports Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses: Heavy Equipment Operator Trade Certification. Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS) Certificate. Ground Disturbance - Level 1 program Equipment and machinery experience: Skidsteer Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail.
