Languages: English Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. or equivalent experience Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years Work setting: Construction. Renovation Tasks: Estimate materials, tools and equipment required for projects. Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing. Construct and install prefabricated masonry units. Prepare tenders and quotations. Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations. Read sketches and blueprints to calculate materials required. Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages. Lay bricks or other masonry units to build residential or commercial chimneys and fireplaces. Supervise other workers. Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Handling heavy loads. Standing for extended periods.
